GHG Protocol

There is a range of tools and approaches to calculating verified emissions reductions. One is the GHG Protocol which was developed by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the World Resources Institute (WRI). Their tools are Excel-based and provide easy calculations for estimating greenhouse gas emissions, making it ideal for organizations working in climate change mitigation. The GHG Protocol’s tools are also offered in country-specific and sector-specific versions.
