About the Resource Hub
The Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) describes impact measurement and management (IMM) as “identifying and considering the positive and negative effects one’s business actions have on people and the planet, and then figuring out ways to mitigate the negative and maximize the positive in alignment with one’s goals.” When integrated with financial and operational metrics, impact metrics can help organizations develop better products and services, make better investment decisions, and become more efficient in achieving impact.
There are numerous frameworks, tools, and metrics repositories available for organizations to apply to their work. However, all this information can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. The Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), with support from the Tipping Point Fund on Impact Investing (TPF), built this IMM Resource Hub to help organizations more easily navigate the available resources and determine which are best fit for their needs. While most of the resources in the Hub were designed for organizations working with entrepreneurs, some are more general but can be applied to a business setting.
